18th Week - Nutrition

18th Week - Monday.
I'm calling this 'nutrition' week. I'm learning that every day holds that choice. I'm happy to say that I can go shopping now and not buy cheezies or other fattening 'snacks'. I have raw almonds in the car. I take fruit. The call or urge to buy those foods that make me feel awful seems to be gone. So, that is great. Everyday - getting the best food, for me, into my body. So, today:
Brkfst: banana, yogurt, pecans, Lunch: homemade soup (veggie), 2 thin slice cheese, 2 perogies (boiled), 1/2 hard boiled egg, 4oz chocolate soy milk, Supper and snacks: salad with dressings, veggie chicken breast (ok with pepper on it!), 1/4 cup macaroni, 2 tble cheese sauce, Later: went over board: choc. soy milk (8oz), 1 cup cheerios, banana, 1/2 cup pecans, 1/8 cup p. butter. If I'm being honest; I was cruising this evening for a binge of whatever. Didn't breathe through it. Ate watching TV. All the bad habits that got me overweight. So, my total looks like: maybe 2000 cal. Not going to lose on that amount. For sure. My choices need help with portion control of dressings (will measure) and p. butter (will measure). that is it. going to get back on the nutrition for burning fat tomorrow.
18th Week - Tues,Wed
I'm sliding a little backwards so I'll jot down some ideas. I have alot of lettuce in the fridge to eat; so that will be a plan. Also, drink more water. And, some kind of good exercise. It is cold here still, poor me, and I have the sniffles and don't want to walk. Poor me. Such a sad tale. Will do the aerobic tape with David Strand; yes, good one. And the goal is to get through it. I'll need a few weeks doing it regularly!
18th Week - Thurs,Fri
Last nite I did a binge - watching tv type unconscious eating. old habit. won't say what it was but about 400 cal, probably. Tonight, I'll get some apple slices ready. I forgive myself. I have to put down here what my brother in law wrote to me after he saw a recent photo that I sent to my sister on the email; he wrote: "you look great. your face has slimmed down very much. You look healthier. Good for you!" That kind of compliment is so good. I thanked him. Makes me want to keep a'going on this program. Had a walk today in the sun and a very long one yesterday - so that is good.
