Smile Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe * Phase 2

Quote:
Sugar Free Chocolate Chips found here: http://www.netrition.com/ewbw_chocolate_chips.html

* Sugar Free
* No Sugar Alcohols
* Diabetic Friendly

Our sugar-free Chocolate Chips not only taste great, they are also an excellent source of dietary fiber and do not contain sugar alcohols which can cause the digestive discomfort often associated with sugar-free foods. Sweetened with Splenda. You no longer have to choose between the foods you need and the foods you love.
And no, I don't work for Netrition, but I do love their site and do lots of business with them!

BTW, they're having a sale this week only ....... :happy:

Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe (modified to be SBD friendly) :Clap:

• 1/2 cup Smart Balance or other trans fat free margarine substitute, softened
• 1 cup Splenda® granular
• 2 tsp. pure Vanilla extract
• 2 eggs or Eggbeaters equal to 2 eggs
• 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
• 1 cup Eat Well Be Well Chocolate Chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together butter and Splenda® granular. Add vanilla, add eggs (1 at a time), mixing well to blend following each addition. Add Chocolate Chips and stir. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough on an ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten cookie with fork. Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and cool on wire rack. Yields 2 dozen cookies.
Sorry, but I don't have a nutritional break down for each cookie at this time. But I would eat them sparingly.
