| i just made this. i used the pie plate to mix the topping as well as to bake it, worked fine. i used liquid pastureized egg whites (like $5 for a pint...ouch!). the strawberry mixture does splatter a bit but i held a towel around it. i really didnt use that many bowls - my kitchen aid mixer bowl, another large bowl that i let the cream cheese sit in. i transferred the cream cheese to the cutting board that i cut the nuts on, then put the strawberry mixture from my mixer bowl into that bowl then beat the cream cheese in the mixer bowl. so i only used 2 bowls. i mashed the strawberries by handfuls right from the bag to the mixer bowl. i used cool whip topping instead of whipped cream. so i used 2 bowls, a pie plate, a cutting board, knife, a couple measuring cups, a teaspoon & spatula so clean up wasn't bad. i took a taste of the topping and the strawberry stuff...yum! its in the freezer right now, i'll post later how the finished product turned out! | |||||||||||
