Any readers out there?? I love a good thriller book...One of my favorite authors is Dean Koontzs.. he is getting a little old with his stories i can guess the ending before i get to it...Really what fun is that???

..I do not like Stephen King I just want to poke my eyes out reading his books they are way to detailed for me...I really do not need five pages of how the women pulled a cigarette out of her pack... I do not like detective stories, nor monster stories or anything silly like that..... Just want a nail bitting, fast pace, hanging on the edge of my seat kind of book.... Any idea's??????

What about Michael Crichton??? You know, Jurassic Park, Airframe, stuff like that. I have read a ton of Dean Koontz and Stephen King (although not in a while) and Crichton has kept me on the edge of my seat several times. I was surprised at how tense I was reading Jurassic Park! Do you just like the horror genre???

What about James Patterson???? Do you like spy novels and authors like Robert Ludlum, Ken Follett?? When I worked at the local library a lot of people liked Stuart Woods, Mary Higgins Clarke, etc.

OMG!!! FRENCHIE!!! I didn't know you READ!!! I love to read...and my favorite author...... JANET EVONOVICH ....write a 'series'....the Stephanie Plum Novels....about a female bounty hunter and her daily grind....OMG...these books are so funny and exciting...you won't put it down until you are done...I swear....they've got romance, mystery, comedy, excitement, and plain ole crazy stuff goin' on!...and let me tell you there's some FUNNY Shiznit in these books girl, so get ready to actually lol!!!...YOU HAVE TO READ THESE!!!

Try to begin with the first of course...(probably at a local library) but let's see if I can remember all the titles...she's up to book 14 which was just released (there's a few 'between the novels 'holiday' books too)... I promise you will LOVE these!...I have them ALL!!!....here they are and tell me how you like em'....I know I can't wait for her to write the next, and the next and the next....

I found one there sweettfp....By Lisa Jackson,,,, Title is Left To Die...I picked it up Sat right before I went camping and I have about 55 pages left...This is the first time I have ever read any of her books...Its really good....Its about a serial killer who picks certian women and shoots at there tires in the car causes them to have a accident and then nurses them back to health and kills them by stringing them on a tree in the dead of winter buck naked and leaves them to die..... .Its really a good book it just better have a good ending thats all I can say...lol..This book will be finished tonight I will let you know if its worth buying....


T, So many of my friends read her books, they have tried so hard to get me into to her but its just not my kind of reading...Now if she had a series on TV I would be all over that, but not to read...But thank you just the same sweetie.....

I'm done with the book and ready to scream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was a good book at start...in the middle ....but the ending cant tell you about cause there is no dam ending......urrrrrrrrrrr........... I'm so mad I could just spit.....And to make matters worse I have to wait till Aug of 2009 to find out what happens............ Lisa Jackson is nixed...............no more of her books thats for sure I have a funny feeling they are all like this.... So not fun..DAM IT ALL....LOL

Oh French, I feel your pain! I've read books like that, too. I think it's a dirty trick for the author to play on her readers. I did the same thing you did; refused to ever read another one of their books. Sorta backfires on them, doesn't it?

I also used to read Dean Koontz (got in a strange streak of reading like thirteen of his, back-to-back), then a little Stephen King (too strange) and some other thrillers. Now, I'm more laid back. I like a nice cozy whodunit or a fun mystery/adventure. And not too long ago I read "The Shack", which I loved, loved, loved.

I cannot seem to get into funny books... I pick them up read a few pages and put it down...Now give me a funny movie, or a good a mystery, or even a love story and I'm all over it... Put it in a book and nope dont want it... Okay Okay so I'm a screw ball....lol
