| I'm planning on beginning my exercise regimine, maybe the weight loss rate wont fall off so bad when i start phase 2 friday. I cant join anything right now, I have looked at many exercise options, but its supposed to be between 95 an 100 everyday this week (the humidity is through the roof too) so i cant walk -or anything- the last time i did SB I was member at a gym and enjoyed it, husband had a cow about rates and i had to quit.. so I'm not opposed to exercise, its just been a while since any serious exercise was done... any suggestions would be appreciated!

| Hi Sweet, Great plan, to bring exercise into the mix. I love using videos at home. So convenient; can do it any time; weather isn't as much of a factor. They can get expensive if you start buying them, though. I suggest you start checking for "fitness DVD" (or VHS) on the internet catalogs at all your libraries. Libraries sometimes have some good ones. Experiment and get to know what you like. Different people like different videos & different instructors. So I think each person needs to try a video out for themselves. Check out collagevideo.com They have short clips of fitness videos, evaluate each in detail, and have discussion forums. If you do Google searches you can find clips & info in other places, such as youtube. I haven't done Tai Chi. I know there are some Tai Chi videos. My impression is that Tai Chi has more structured exercises than Qi Gong, which is similar. I do like some Qi Gong videos with Lee Holden. Nice for flexibility and relaxation. Quote:
