Does anyone else own a Gazelle? Mine is a Gazelle Edge. We had one when I was in high school, but we ended up giving it away because we were moving. The one we had before had a cup-holder, which was GREAT for holding the tv remote. lol. The one we have now doesn't have the cup-holder. I miss that! lol.

I love the Gazelle, but if you buy one, don't expect the monitor to last long. It's supposed to keep track of your distance, time, speed, etc... but ours lasted about a week. It counts everything completely wrong!

I try to use mine an hour a day. I love it! =)

I actually have a Gazelle that I picked up in a yard sale. I am a lazy exerciser tho. I need to really get back on that thing. When I have used it found that its not that bad. Mine has no monitors or cup holders. Does anyone know how many calories those things actually burn?

I have no idea how many calories you can burn on the Gazelle, but I would guess it's at least the same amount you'd burn from walking at the same speed/distance. I think there are places online where you can put in how fast you walk and how much time you walk, and it will give you an estimate of how many calories you're burning.

Does your Gazelle squeek? Mine does, and I HATE it. lol. I've greased it up with WD-40 about 100 times, and it doesn't help.

Actually mine does squeak a little and yes i t makes me crazy. I have tried the wd40 as well. Guess we just have to live with it.

Maybe some headphones with an iPod would help.

I live in an old apartment. The neighbors underneath me bitched about the noise, that's how loud it is. And NO, it's not because of my weight. I think it's supposed to support up to 250, if I'm not mistaken, and I have NEVER been that heavy.

Headphones and an ipod cannot fix the squeak.

Wow, mine sqeaks but not that bad. Mine is just enough to be annoying.
