| Yesterday was way, WAY too hot to do a darn thing! But we did brave the sweltering heat and walk a mile and a half. Got up super early (for me anyway) and walked for 4 miles this morning! Yippee! :joy: Gonna get in a bike ride in the morning .... if all goes well. :Biker: DOG will be mad, but oh well! I'm also working around the house with cleaning and laundry and bringing up and putting in the extra air conditioner so my big old one doesn't have to work as hard. I've been up and down these basement steps a dozen times or more! I'm going to sleep like a log tonight! :Sleepy: | |||||||||||

| Great Job Girl. I am Getting rid of Caffeine out of my day so I ahve a screaming headache took some Advil other then that I am good. SO long as I can get throguh this I should be good to go again YAY that will be sooo awesome. I can't wait to not have to have caffeine to get up and go in the morning today I am really tired. Sarah

| I had a family emergency come up and company, so no bike riding. Monday was 1.85 miles and this morning was 2.92 miles. Why are you getting off the caffeine, Sarah? I'm thinking about drinking more. | |||||||||||

| I am not feeling well and the doctor thinks I may have PCOS and so caffeine is not so good and I feel like garbage. so I am trying to eliminate stuff to see if I can feel better. I got in a run for 30 minutes was happy to get it in Sarah

| I'm going to join in on this thread and post here what excersize I do, instead of in my journal. First I want to say how in awe I am of you ladies. You're doing great. Wow, Sarah! Your pictures are amazing. Nice work! (what's PCOS?) Well, today started out with about 15 min. of abs. I do the Crunch Fitness series of videos and this one I've had for over 10 years, it's barely playable anymore! But it's a good workout. It's called Washboards Abs (which btw I have never come close to having, lol) This was the first time I've ever attempted to wake up earlier than 6am to squeeze in a workout before work, so it was challenging.:Sleepy: But It beats trying to do the videos with a toddler on my lap, hehe.(she was sleeping). ????: South Beach Diet Forums http://www.southbeachdietbulletinboard.com/exercise/982-exercise-room-july-yay.html Today I had planned on going to the tennis courts for some cardio, but I just got a call from my hubby and he's not going to put the girls in summer church today, so I will have my 3 year old Eva and 8 year old Danielle with me. I'm going to attempt to bring them with me, in hopes that they will entertain themselves. I'll be surprised if I break a sweat while teaching Danielle how to hit, and depending how long Eva's attention span is while chasing balls ... hmmm...I can try. Maybe later, I'll get some "me" time. Ok, I went a little crazy here. I'll try to keep my posts to excersize that I completed. Thanks for letting me rant. | ||||||||||

| Welcome to the Exercise Room, Dawn! I do like to be able to enter it when I exercise. It's a little reward. If I run around shouting to people, "I EXERCISED 20 MINUTES TODAY!", they're like, "Yea? so?". But I know it's no small or easy thing! I hear ya about the abs. My abs tend more toward a pile of laundry than washboard. But every little bit helps. Great work, getting up early so you could fit your workout in. In the long run, that'll probably help you have more energy with the kids. :joy: | ||||||||||

| I'm here I'm here Just been sooo increadibly busy with everything. I am going rollerblading today it's gunna be awesome. OH I didn't post my Exercise I better do that HERE HE HE. I did 20 minutes of HIIT cardio I was running upwards of 10MPH never gone that fast it was brutal my legs were sore my tongue was hanging out went 2.5 miles. I then walked for 10 minutes to bring the HR back down. ????: South Beach Diet Forums http://www.southbeachdietbulletinboard.com/showthread.php?t=982 Later in the day I felt soo modivated I lifter weights Chest and Tricept. Chest Pull Overs 3 sets 12 reps 30 lbs Tricep Extensions 3 sets 12 reps 25lbs Chest FLies 3 sets 12 reps 20 lbs Tricep Kick Back 3 sets 12 reps 20 lbs Bench Press 3 sets 12 reps 40 lbs not to heavy but getting to 12 was hard and I can feel it today YAY me that took me 45 minutes with 1 minute rest between each set.
