| instead of doing the entire diet which is in 3 phrases i have decided to just use the meal replacement bars the only problem is that i have no idea how to use the meal replacement bars properly can someone who has used the meal replacement bars please help me out? i also understand that there are cereal bars and snack bars if someone decides to use the cereal bars and the snack bars how in the world does he or she use the cereal bars or the snack bars? | ||||||||||

| Are you planning on only eating the meal replacement bars? If so I would rethink that. The diet works. Try to follow it. There are reasons for the three phases. | |||||||||||

| Hi Christine, As Tom says, it wouldn't be a good idea to use just the bars. SBD works because it teaches us how to easily use healthy, whole foods to maintain our desired weight for life. And life's a lot more enjoyable that way, IMHO. The SBD foods aren't meant to be used regularly. Personally, I've never found them to be very satisfying. | ||||||||||

| As another note. The South Beach company does not always follow the best interest of the people on the South Beach Diet. This is my opinion at least. The same thing also happened with the Atkins Diet and the Atkins Diet Corporation. All the corps really care about is selling you products. Some may in fact work well with the diet but I would definitely be careful and read all of the labels and even experiment with them. Personally I dont believe in the use of any artificial sweetners. All I am trying to say here is that there is a conflict of interest between the corps selling the products and the people that are on the diet. If that makes sense. ANyway my 2 cents | |||||||||||
