| We started this diet last Monday, so today completes our first week. During the last week, my husband and I both lost 2 lbs. However in the last two days, my husband and I have each gained 1lb. We are both really frustrated. We do feel like our salt intake is higher than our normal diet - ex: canadian bacon, turkey, cheese. We don't normally have this much salt. Could this be a result of too much sodium? | ||||||||||

| wow...your post slipped through here didn't it? I'll help if I can... I have never had a problem with my sodium hindering my weight loss, but I don't "salt" my food either....just what is on it naturally. You should be okay as long as you don't pour it on your food or anything...maybe it's something else? Care to share a daily menu?...maybe I can help... | |||||||||||

| Are you drinking enough water???????????? with and after every meal a nice big glass of water to flush out sodium should do the trick... try that and see what happens....I do not salt my food either but I know things such as cheese and bacon is loaded so I make sure that i drink plenty of water with such foods...... | ||||||||||

| Thanks guys for your input on the sodium intake. We have been drinking a lot of water and have followed the diet to a "T". Since I last blogged, I did experience weight loss. Just slower than I expected. | ||||||||||
