| Hi, This is my third day on S.B. It has been pretty easy so far, i have experienced headaches, and I do miss my glass of wine in the evenings. Im feel pretty commited so far, I was always a size 12 around 150-160 lbs before age 43 when i quit smoking the first time and was on steroids. That first week i really balooned up! I am over 200 lbs, and it just hasn't budged for about 5 years now, and Im really frustrated! So, Im very happy to have found this forum, I sure can't do this alone! | Your getting headaches because your not eating every 3 hours. I used to be plagued with migraines before I started SBD...they would stop my whole day...litterally make me sick...then I read the SBD Book...ahhh...a little light bulb went off in my head...I was getting those bad headaches due to my poor eating habits! DUH...my blood sugar was totally out of wack. When you go more than 3 hours without eating, your blood sugar drops WAY low...causing headaches in your brain as well as your body to STORE FAT!!! Did you hear that?...store fat??...we don't want that! When your blood sugar drops, your body goes into starvation mode...actually storing any fat it then gets...YUCK! Eat something every 3 hours to avoid this fat storing stage your body goes into...you don't want any fat to be stored....so...get this...it's the best part of the diet...EAT EVERY THREE HOURS!...eat to stay thin!!! (phase 2) TRAVEL FRIENDLY SNACKS cheese sticks peanuts celery pistacios almonds HB Egg banana apple LUNCH BOX SNACKS sliced turkey rolled up w/lettuce or mustard... low fat/sugar yogurts cucumber & cottage cheese Celery & Natural Peanut Butter Strawberries & SF cool whip (yum) green pepper slices & mozz. cheese I could go on, an on, and on...the possibilities are almost endless... Start with a simple change... EAT EVERY 3 HOURS & SEE WHAT HAPPENS! | |||||||||||
