| Hey, all. Just started the diet last week, ran into "induction flu", and have had to go a bit more slowly into the change. I have a bit of a different situation as instead of eating junk food before going on the diet, I just wasn't eating much at all. On top of that, I have hypothyroidism and want to become a vegetarian (ovo-lacto) but am having difficulty finding good sources of protein that don't conflict with my condition (i.e., soy). | Things are going slowly, that's for sure. I started in Phase 2 instead of phase 1, so I'm eating a lot of salads, cheese, and eggs. I'll occasionally splurge and go out to eat (yesterday was Taco Bell and Coldstone Creamery to celebrate getting a new duplex with my affianced), but I'm back on track this morning. I can't see any difference at the scale, but others keep telling me that it looks like I'm losing weight. So we'll see! I'm looking forward to having time to exercise more (post graduation and when I have only one job instead of two). I think things will really kick up a notch once that time comes along.
