| I've never been in a chat room, blogged or any of that kind of stuff so I'm not sure how this works. But I did just start the South Beach diet and I could use a little "been there done that" knowledge from the ones who have gone before me! I quit smoking 6 months ago and I gained 17lbs. I know it doesn't sound like a lot but I worked really hard to lose 50 of the 70 I wanted to lose and I didn't want to gain it all back. I'm a big woman ...I've always been a big woman and I don't have a problem with that. I just want to be able to get around when I'm 65! I'm in my second week and I've lost 7lbs. I'm back at the gym. Lets see if I can lose the 17 and the other 20 I wanted. | ||||||||||

| Well, you did great on your first post!...and wow... 7 lbs!!! WOO HOO!!! Your off to a great start my friend! That's 7 down, 10 to go for now right? I just got my first workout at our new gym in town under my belt today...I'm so excited to start some of their classes...they offer Yoga & belly dancing this month...oh boy....belly dancing....lol...maybe once I get my 'rolls' going, they will dance on their own?.... just kidding...I am excited about working out and I see you are too...we will do this together!
