Hello everyone!! this will my second time on the South Beach Diet, I hope that this time will be forever, I got very good comments of my friends and family after I lost weight, but weight gain came back due that I began to eat everything!!! bad bad girl hehehe. We need to understand that the South Beach is a way of living not a diet for some weeks or months, we need to continue using the South Beach book as a bible if we want to maintain the weight we lost, If we began to gain weight eating bread, potatoes or other kind of food not listed in the South Beach diet, we have are those that do not metabolize sugar well.
I'm from Tijuana Mexico sorry if I have some spelling problems.

Welcome!! One of my fave quotes is from Albert Einstein, "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results." So if the foods you ate prior to starting SB helped you become overweight before, then they will after as well if you go back to them. Expecting anything different than that, is well, just a bit crazy!

I love that quote! It's one that's helped to keep me motivated this time...I'm determined to do it 'differently' when I reach my goal....like phase 3! DUH! (which I totally forgot to follow last time) I'm almost there...again...and I swear I'm not doing this again!...I will maintain, I will maintain, I will maintain this time...

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions, I'm very pleased :Hug2:, and yes I knew that I was posting not in the correct place but after I wrote I did not find my comment a saw my proflle and walla!! there it was, I will write in the blogs in the future.
