Default end of day one!

hi folks. This is my first time doing So. Beach. i've gotten in the habit of eating a lot at night, mostly sugar and baked foods are my compulsive grabs. I know i feel better without the sugar spikes but my bad habits are getting more permanent and gotta ween myself off them before i spiral too far. I have 15lbs to lose and look forward to be at my optimum health level again. Though i don't have much to lose, i appreciate all the support. Thanks

I know what you mean about the sugar at night - I had gotten into the same bad habit - they just seem comforting for some reason. This is my fourth day on the diet and I was really surprised at how much the S/F jello and S/f fudge pops helped w/my sugar cravings. Actually, I need to go out and buy more jello! I've already lost 3 lbs. (prob. water loss I know, but still....!) You can do it - just keep reading the posts on this forum - that has really helped to motivate me and I'm newbie at this like you. Good luck!

thanks for the response. i don't eat jello cause gelatin is made from the collagen in animals.(horse hoofs etc.) i eat fish but not meat. last night i made FAGE nonfat plain yogurt(this stuff rocks! hi protein, low sugar, low calorie, creamy and delicious) with some cocoa powder and stevia. a little weird but hit the spot.
so tired this morning but gotta make an egg breakfast to last me till 1:30- work then my workout. maybe i'll bring LC cheese w/ me but my celery is soggy.

fresh, crunchy vegies are a great pick me up. So are nuts. Just a few suggestions. Good luck, you will do it in no time flat
