| Hello and I restarted south beach today. I'm not new to south beach I started in jan 2006 and lost 70lbs. I kept it off for almost 15months. I had some health issues and ended up gaining it all back. I was in a horrific car crash, ended up having some stomach issues and with meds and my dh's cooking back it came. I've tried some other things in the mean time ww, jenny craig and of course the diet drinks. I was able to lose a few pounds but it always came back. I kick my self because I was doing so well, I was even preparing for my first 10k. I will be 47 next month and still have a lot of plans and need to lose about 90lbs. I'm a nurse by trade, we have a small horse farm and I need to get the weight off to keep up with everything around here. I know I can do this with the help of this forum. | Welcome back! Thanks for sharing your experience. It's good for us to hear that this works - when we work it. It's not easy, but the rewards will make it worth it. (I also read your weight challenge thread, but I know from personal experience that that won't work for me. Mostly I need to avoid the scales and that would have me hanging over them all the time! | |||||||||||
