| I am starting SB tomorrow morning! I am actually excited..but also nervous. I am a pharmaceutical rep, and staying on track with the meals won't be the easiest thing since I travel everyday. I cover half the state of Nebraska, so I can't run home everyday. Hopefully I will become organized and plan ahead. Any other drug reps out there who can help -- or anyone with suggestions??:Sad2: I plan to weigh in every Monday morning. | Hello! :Welcome: Did you know that the SBD has a small book on the market called "The South Beach Diet's Guide to Dining Out"? I'm not sure if I have the title exactly right or not. You can get by without it, but I just thought it might be something to consider buying since you travel a lot. Do you drive your routes? Can you bring a cooler with you? There are always foods that you can bring with you for snacks and such. | Hey Annie-:happy: Welcome to SB I too am a new member, this is day 2 for me. I am a nurse in INDY so I know that it is hard to fit in the meals, and with you traveling I can see it being even more challenging, stick with it though! Day one was rough for me still getting the hang of what I can/can't/ shouldn't eat and portion size, the cravings were bad but I went through the newspaper ads...all had Easter candy for sale so that was what was driving me crazy, but today has been better. | Hi there! :Welcome: I totally know what you mean about being nervous! I work full time and have a toddler that is 2. My husband works two jobs currently, so at home it's basically just me!:Clap: Balancing work and home is sometimes impossible! I am definately going to have to get the dining out book myself. I was totally nervous that I may just be too busy. One thing I have going for me is that I live around the corner from my office. So, I really can't make too many excuses here. Anyway, today is my first day as well and I have to say the info that I have gotten from here today has kept me motivated. But, I ask a lot of questions. Welcome! Linda | ||||||||||
