and tomorrow i will make the switch. I think that I am currently stuck in a rut and can't seem to get anywhere with Atkins.
I am huge on exercise, 5 days a week- so this is not a problem. It is my eating- so I am hoping that with SB I will find it easier.

I have read the book, I guess I am armed with the knowledge- fingers crossed.

I don't think I should have too many problems- I am Canadian and live in Poland - most of the whole foods are produced organically, I am lucky in this aspect. But I do think I will miss cheese. We don't have low fat cheese here- even the lowest fat of cottage cheese is still 3% so I guess I will just have to watch my intake.

So hello to everyone and looking forward to getting to know you.

Glad to see you on board. I am also a former Atkins dieter. I have nothing bad to say about that way of eating, but the SBD was a more acceptable lifestyle for me. Good luck to you. Hang out here all you can, it's a great place for support.

For cheeses in euro labeling terms, it would only need to be 21% total fat or less to be SB acceptable, i.e. 21 gms of total fat per 100 gms. That's pretty much the equivalent of 6 gms of total fat per 1 oz serving in US terms.
