| Hi I'm new here and have finished my first day on the plan. I'm alittle hungry and have a bit of a headache I think so far i'm doing well. Looking forward to meeting a lot of you. | ||||||||||

| The headache was probably from breaking away from some of the things you were eating. If you are hungry, eat something, just be sure it is on phase one. Roasted Chick Peas are a great snack.

| Be sure to include all your good carbs from the allowed 2 cups of dairy, some amount of beans/legumes every day (1/3-1/2 cup per serving but multiple servings per day are OK) and of course the minimum of 4.5 cups of veggies per day! Also no need to cut out caffeinated beverages if you were used to having them before. A couple servings of caffeinated beverages are fine too! (the good carbs help with energy and avoiding headaches and the blahs as does caffeine. Did you know almost all over the counter headache/pain relievers contain caffeine for this reason?) | |||||||||||
