South Beach rocks!

I'm a 62 year old woman and I've been following the South Beach eating plan for about 4 months. So far I've lost 30 pounds. In fact, I'm below my initial goal weight! Went from 158 pounds to a much more satisfactory 128. New goal is 125, but it could be less... (Note - I'm also on 2 medications which promote weight gain, but no problem.)

Eating the South Beach way is a joy! I love being able to have protein and lots of vegetables - stir-fried in olive oil. And almonds. And eggs. The foods that are allowed/encouraged are foods I enjoy. And cutting back on the carbs has certainly reduced cravings.

I have 'cheated' on occasion which has slowed the weight loss, but it's been easy to get right back on track and minimize any seriously negative impact.

Feels great knowing that my diet is a healthy one. The weight loss is an absolutely wonderful by-product. Again - South Beach rocks!

I agree Tawanda! I have been on the SBD for nearly a year, and I love it.
