You can half a couple tablespoons of FF half n half per day if you like. Or skim or 1% milk of course. And if it is a flavored creamer, some use SF syrups like they do at coffee houses. Personally I think the best thing is to just learn to drink it black.

Default Thanks !!

Thanks I didn't know I could have the fat free Half and Half. And the 1% milk is not doing it for me. Yeah i would like to drink it black but I don't think I can handle it with my GERD or upper reflux. Thanks again

Welcome to the beach! I used to really like the flavored creamers with my coffee, but I have almost totally broken myself from this. I still, on occasion, drink it with the flavored Splenda, but most of the time it is black now. That doesn't sound like an option for you, but maybe it will get where it can be.

True. things do change. I was a serious TUMS addict prior to SB. Can't remember the last time I reached for one!

Default Yes!!

Yes!! I thought it was just me but I haven't had any heart burn since I started and I thought I was just imagining things. Thanks! for the confirmation. I am at the end of my first week though and I am a little discouraged about not loosing weight. I am feeling better and can tell a little bit that I may be loosing inches but I don't think I am exercising enough. If I could break or get below my 145 mark I think I would start to feel better. But I know It took years to put this weight on so I may just be trying yo rush things. I am trying to figure out if its because I haven't been able to exercise much or its because of the coffee. But I may extend phase one for another week after this week and try to incorporate more exercise. Do you guys have any suggestions? Thanks again for your help both of you.

Most people say it is best not to extend phase one for three weeks. Remember, phase two is the real weight loss phase. Phase one if for breaking habits and getting your blood glucose in order. My only advice is to be sure you are following the program. If you are sure you are, then just be patient, the results will come.

Default Thanks, I was on vacation

Well,

I officially fell off the wagon when my sister came down but I was really starting to see results. So I have to start all over again at phase one. Its frustrating !! We took the kids to a Disney resort and Park and with all that running there wasn't alot of time or options. I just wanted to thank you guys again for being so supportive. And I am starting fresh again today.

Depending on how long you were "off" you might not need a full 2 weeks of P1 again if it was just kind of a little detour and not a full blown retreat! Remember the goal of P1 is to break the cycle of food based hunger pangs, so that might happen in a shorter period of time if you were close to being through the first 2 weeks the first time.

Also be sure to read the P1 food list and the P1 meal models here to make sure you are getting the right SB foods in the right portions and right proportions and not overeating or undereating any particular major category. Or post some typical daily menus and folks can help you troubleshoot areas of concern. Good luck!
