| My hubby and I lost 20-30# on SDB a few years ago, but ended up going back to some bad habits and we've both gained it all back and more. We now have 50# or more each to lose. Week 1 down and we're both sleeping better, no acid reflux, more energy. We're south for the winter, and we plan to go back up north next spring and need a whole new wardrobe! I'm getting awfully tired of eggs every morning. Our favorite is "French Toast" (egg whites, cottage cheese, splenda and cinnamon). Any other ideas besides eggs? This is my first time on the Forum. I'm going to need help making this a way of life as I go. Thanks everybody! | ||||||||||

| Well the meal models don't even specify eggs, so eggs aren't necessary at all on any day at any meal. You only need some protein, 1/2 cup of veggies and a small amount of good fats. Anything from the food list that fits into those categories will work for breakfast. If you seem to like cottage cheese, it's a very high quality protein. Just some cottage cheese with tomatoes and other veggies mixed in will work in a pinch! Add some plain NF/LF yogurt or skim/1% milk for some good carbs and you've got a decent SB breakfast fairly quickly too. Heck even a cup/bowl of homemade chili is a great P1 breakfast. Good luck! | |||||||||||
