| Hello Forum People, I am back at it again. I tried South Beach a few years ago when it was just introduced, and finished Phase 1, but then reverted back to my bad eating habits in Phase 2. I'm now well over 100 lbs overweight and I need to do something to right the ship. My wife and I will start Phase 1 tomorrow on 1/3/10. I'm reading all the posts for newbies and gathering recipes as well. I think the secret to Phase 1 is the preparation. The key to Phase 2 is consistency to allow your mind and body to accept new, healthier habits. Wish us luck! ZenMan | ||||||||||

| You said it KMAY! Some smart guy once said, "if you fail to plan, you plan to fail". My wife printed out the Phase 1 Meal Model from Luv, and then went to the store and bought food for the week. On Sunday we planned our meals for the rest of the week. We prepared the meals ahead of time for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and then on Wednesday well prep for Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Sunday repear for week two. My whole goal is to create grab and go meals for the week, as setting aside time to cook during the week is not realistic for this family. So far, so good. But it is only Monday! | ||||||||||
