| I have never participated in a forum for anything other than work! Now I have high speed internet at home and want to do something for me. What brought you to south beach? I have tried WW, atkins, meds, Slim Fast, you name it and this is the only thing that I can stick to. Did SB a couple years ago and things went really well until I went on vacation, ironically to Miami, south beach! I went off for vacation and never went back. How long have you been doing it? I started again 1/1/06 What do you like about the diet? Real food and realistic choices that make sense. What is difficult about the diet? For me, social events. For example yesterday superbowl party, my family and friends like to party - usually alchohol whenever we are together. I could not resist a beer yesterday and thing went downhill from there. Just got back to doing this. Do not like gyms so I have an eliptical at home and like Pilates and light wieghts. How much weight do you have to lose? In my dreams 60 lbs in reality I am shooting for 50. I have lost 15 since Jan. 1. Do you have an recipes to share with us? I LOVE pizza so I will make a pizza snack by slicing a portabella mushroom thin for the 'crust' spead a small amount of pizza sauce (1-2 tbls) on in it with some light cheese and maybe lean ham or canadian bacon and toasting it in the toaster oven. | ||||||||||

| Wow Suz, thanks for joining and posting such a great post and your pizza sounds delicious. I am very new to SB and I must agree with you, it doesn't sound as restrictive as most diets and Dr. A understands about human nature. Hope youll be a great contributor to our little new forum. | ||||||||||
