| I thought I would start a journal since I can't seem to keep one these days for myself. Maybe this will be a good thing. I've been walking 3 nights in a row now. I drove my path in the car and it said 1.3 miles. I know its not much but I think its pretty good for me. The only exercise I get is chasing after my kiddos otherwise. Anyway, it takes me a little under 30 minutes to walk it and it completely wears me out so maybe it will do some good. I haven't lost any weight since I've been walking which kind of ticks me off. But I'm hoping it will get better. I went to costco yesterday and bought some whole wheat ravioli stuffed with cheese and asparagus. mmmmmmmm I tried it as a sample there and it was yum. I don't want to get in the habit of buying it though. Its a treat. Anytime I get too many grains I gain weight. I have to be very careful. I mostly eat protein and veggies. Thats it for now I guess, Carolyn | ||||||||||

| I think I've hit another plateau and I'm feeling very impatient. This happened one other time and it about got the best of me. I gained and lost the same 5 pounds for about 2 weeks. I've been somewhere between 293 and 298 everyday for about a week and a half. I keep telling myself I will break through soon but I'm not completely believing myself. I'm sure it will end, I just don't know when. Anybody have any proven plateau busters I could try?? Carolyn | ||||||||||

| Not much time here, but there are lots of different things to try out. Nothing proven, of course. You could start by cutting down your cheese. For many women, plateaus & stalls seem to be a given part of the process. I've come to expect them. P.S. Just don't give up, Carolyn! If you're persistent, you'll lose! | Thanks Nancy, I actually do need to cut down my cheese I think. I don't know if its causing the stall or not. But I have noticed that I add cheese to this and that and the other to make things more interesting and by the end of the day I've probably had way too much. I should be more vigilant about that. Thanks for the suggestion! | ||||||||||
