Default My Journal

Ok I see other people post what they eat on here. I however wont do that because of time. If it's okay I would like to get on here and put how I have done so far. I guess more for me to read than anything.....
????: South Beach Diet Forums http://www.southbeachdietbulletinboard.com/journal-your-way-thin/1256-my-journal.html

I do alot of walking because of my job. I am on my feet walking all day in a closed up area. I am a manager for a fast food restaraunt. And no I am not tempted to eat all that fat filled food. I have been back on my diet for about 5 days now and am down 3 lbs. But also in my downtime at home I use my treadmill or I will walk the dog 2 miles. I also include cleaning house as exercise as I cant do that from a chair.

I will give a variety of what I eat. Usually my breakfast includes (2) eggs, sausage or bacon. That always fills me up and that is surprising to me. Lunch is usually either a salad with grilled chicken or a bunless cheeseburger with just mustad and lettuce. At night it varies what I eat. Its usually vegiies and meats. For some reason I cant make myself eat much snacks and I never want dessert. Is that okay to do?

Any ideas or helpful hints are also welcome.

OMG I did awesome! Went t the hospital with a co worker to visit the mother of our boss. We are all Managers at Mickey D's. After we got done at the hospital me and Dawn went back to work so I could get my car and come home. Well we went in and she grabbed a southern style chicken and so did I. I held it in my hands and thought "what am I doing? So I threw it out and grabbed a grilled chicken. I know I will succeed this time around. Atleast I dont have a husband to cause turmoil in my life and make me go to my confort foods. I just thought I would post this as I am SO happy I threw it away and went for healthier.

That's the way to do it!!!!

I bet the pleasure you got from taking that action is MUCH more genuine and long-lasting than if you'd eaten the southern style chicken!!!!!:joy:

Keep sharing more, girl!!!!!!!

Default Not really a slip up

Well today hasnt been all that interesting. I worked and ate everything I should have with the addition of 1 dry frosted flake. I wanted something sweet. I really need suggestions for when I have a sweet tooth during phase 1. I am not big into sweets but every once in awhile I want something. It couldnt have happened a week ago before I got back on this diet huh lol. Anyway I see my old pattern from when I did SBD before. I weigh every morning but I am going to break myself from this. When I lost 30 lbs before on the diet I just about drove myself nuts and had to replace the batteries in my scale a month later! Anyway...advice needed for sweet tooth pleaseeeee.

A FROSTED FLAKE?!?! You are playing with fire, girl. :jester: (Just kidding. But really, kudos to you for being able to stop!)

Cajun brought up sweets too. There're some ideas. http://www.sbdbb.com/showthread.php?t=1257

I hear ya about the scale. Maybe hide it under the bed? You can notice nice changes without weighing.
