Well, I am starting my own journal section today. I fell off the wagon & gained 38 lbs. back. I'm starting fresh and have decided to Journal. What a great tool to have available!

I wanted to start the diet again, but didn't think I had anything "diet friendly" in my kitchen. I decided that was no excuse, so this is what I came up with, even without going to the store...

Bkfst:
2 scrambled eggs
4 oz. light yogurt

Snack:
4 oz light yogurt

Lunch:
Cranberry Almond Chicken Salad from Wendy's-with no dressing
(not the best idea, but I had not been to the store yet. Cranberries probably had too much sugar, but it was better than pizza right?)

Snack:
Light cheese stick

(I stopped at a friends before heading to the store. They were getting ready to eat & I decided to eat too. This is what they had made: corn on the cob, baked potatoes, brats, burgers, chips, potato salad, pickles, & apple crisp for dessert. WOW...lots of bad stuff there...but this is what I ate)

Dinner:
Hamburger w/mustard (no bun)
2 Dill pickle spears
8-10 Dill pickle chips (like you put on a burger)

I had the burger, pickle slices & pickle chips on my plate. Kinda sad looking compared to their plates, but it WAS a full plate of food! I ate slowly and ended up completely satisfied.

This menu was not the best start back on the beach. But considering what all was available throughout the day (Wendy's drive thru & my friends house) I think I did pretty good. Yeah me!

Walked 1 mile...starting slow

Did my work out video (Core Rhythms) 1st thing in the morning....gotta get it done before my body wakes up and realizes what I am doing to it...lol

I switched to decaf coffee today too! We'll see how that goes.

Bkfst:
1/2 c. egg beaters
8 oz. V8
decaf coffee

Snack:
4 oz light yogurt

Lunch:
Grilled chicken breast on greens w/Lime juice dressing...yummy!
S.F. Jello

Snack:
Light cheese stick

Went minature golfing with husbby & two kids, got home later than normal, wanted to eat a light dinner, so I had a salad...BTW...I won the golf game!

Dinner:
Salad as follows:
Baked turkey breast
Low-fat feta cheese
Green peppers
Onions
Lime Juice for dessing

Just Reading Your Journal...wow Congrats Staying True While Visting With Friends Great Job.....thats When This Diet Gets Sticky.... Visiting With Friends That Have Great Food...but For The Record Your Not Missing Out On Anything And I Think You Figured That One Out....sounds Like You Are Doing A Great Job With All.and Everything.. Lets Keep It Up... I Vow To Post All And Everything Everyday Just To Keep It All Real... How About You... I Will Not Fall Off This Time...its Way To Close To Summer.....and Like I Stated In My Journal Post I Really Want Out Of These Panties And Into Something Sexy..... Have To B/f Birthday Is In July. So Wouldnt It Be Nice To Take My Undies Off At The Hips Instead Of My Boob Area....lol(kidding Its Not That Yet)

Thumbs up We Can Do It!

I love the idea of journaling and am determined to reach my goal this time! I planning on logging menu's every day, along with my ups & downs. (maybe not the weekend, I don't turn on my computer everyday.) But I will most certainly log my weekends with Monday's entry! I've got to keep myself in check, and journaling seems to be the perfect way to do that.

I was down to 179 at one point, my mistake was to celebrate my 100 pound loss by slacking off a bit I guess. Before I knew it, I went right back to the way I used to eat. Then I got Tom's "e-mail wake up call" last week. I couldn't believe it!...I had reached 226 again! A 47 lb gain is NOT GOOD! :OMG:

My problem was I screwed up and totally skipped phase 3! Anyhow, now I'm back on phase 1 and feel stronger than ever about my healthy lifestyle! Thanks for reading my journal as well, and I look forward to posting my progress tomorrow, along with reading about yours!

How Is Going For You??/ I Read In Another Post Well Actually I Responded To Your Other Post About Being Soar... I Know How You Feel Chicky... But We Must Keep Going... Summer Is Just A Month Away... I can't wait to say I've reached my Goalllllllllll! lol...I am thinking of joining a gym or a work out class or something. I have realized that my problems start when I get home from work, have supper cleaned up, and the family is setteling in to watch TV (bad habbit of theirs)...I find myself getting up during every commercial to roam the damn kitchen! Out of bordom I think..I open the fridge, look around, close the fridge, go over and look in the cupboards, close the cupboards, go back the fridge etc....and then I realize that I just ate like 1/2 hr. ago! At least I realize what I am doing! The good news is, last night I caught myself doing it and decided that I needed something to do, so I put on my shoes and just took off down the road jogging....didn't jog for very long, (lol) but I did turn it into a 2 mile (very fast paced) walk! Anyhow...maybe if I join an evening class or something, I won't have this issue...I'm going to research some stuff in my area today and hopefully I can find something. Anyhow...here's my menu:

B-2 pieces of canadian bacon, 1/4 c. egg beaters, 8 oz V8, decaf coffee (BTW, no effect on me by switching to unleaded coffee! YIPPEE!)
S-Light cheese stick
L-Leftover stirfry & lettuce w/lime juice
S-Slice of Canadian bacon wrapped in Low Fat provelone cheese
D-Steamed snow peas & chicken breast marinated in lite soy, garlic, & s&p

NO BANNANA'S TODAY! Yeah me!

Had a great weekend...(well I didn't get any exercise, but I was busy all weekend and kept to my menu, so that is a + for me!)

sat-
b-eggs & can. bacon, V8, Decaf coffee
s-cheese stick
l-salad w/green peppers & chick brst.& lime juice, jello
s-celery, laughing cow cheese wedge
d-stir fry w/pork loin & cabbage with a dash of lite soy sauce

Sun-
b-egg beaters, broccoli & lite feta, decaff coffee

Toaday's menu is as follows:
B-canadian bacon & egg beaters, v8, decaff
S- 4 oz. light yogurt
l-leftover stirfry from sat.
s-cheese stick
d-leftover BBQ Salmon, broccoli, salad

I am closing month end at work today, so this will probably be my only time to post. That is my plan for the day, and I'm sure I'll be so busy, I won't have time to cheat...yeah!

Default I Didn't Die!!!

I can't believe it! I went for a jog/walk this morning...I started at a slow jog and kept going until I felt like I was going to die. I slowed to a walk for a while, turned around and jogged the rest of the way home...I was sweating in places I didn't even know I had! lol I jumped in the shower and now that I'm at work, I feel GREAT! I thought for sure I would be so tired I would be hating myself, but I was wrong! I have more energy now than when I didn't do anything in the morning! I'll have to work my way up to that 20 minute mark, I only lasted about 12...but hey, it's a start!

Menu for today:
B-2 eggs, broccoli, canadian bacon scrambled & decaff coffee
S-HB egg
L-Salad w/chicken, peas, light feta chesse, SF jello
S-cheese stick
D-Chicken breast, Zucchini squash & salad.
