Hello...
I did a few months of South Beach in the summer of 2004. I felt so good during that time! Yesterday morning I saw a number on the scale that I have never seen before... so I've committed to trying SB again. I started yesterday and feel good except for a dull headache... I remember this from the first time and realize it will go away soon.

This morning I was 2.4 pounds lighter than yeasterday morning... I know that's mostly water weight and I also ate like a pig two nights ago (went to Moe's and ate a giant burrito and chips mmm....) so that helped add to the day one bloat LOL.

I'll try to write more later and spend some time reading everyone's journals.

Just wondering...your eating something every 3 hours right? Not skipping any meals or snacks in between? You should eat 3 meals & at least 2 snacks per day...3 if you can get them in...something for sure (peanuts, cheese stick) every 3 hours, or your blood sugar will drop and you will get headaches...and your body also 'stores fat' when your blood sugar is low... and yeah...pretty much that's what we DON'T want at this point right?...lol

so I was just double checking in that your getting your snacks...that's the #1 thing people do wrong...they think if they "don't" eat as much, they should lose weight. If you skip meals & snacks, your just hurting your loss...you'll lose more weight if you eat regularly.

Thanks... yeah, I'm eating my snacks, and I'm not hungry b/c of all the veggies and protein, which is why I love this diet...

I think the headache is just from the enormous decrease in both sugar and caffeine. I am drinking my alloted 2 diet cokes with caffeine... but that's a lot less than I used to drink. I'm also drinking a ton of water!!

I lost another 2 pounds today! So that's 4.4 in 2 days. surely this will slow down... but it feels good now! I'll take it!

Thanks DLS and Tiny T for writing to me it's very motivating. I am going to check out your journals now!
