Default no weigh ins for me

so, as obsessed as i was with my scales, they have given up on me... guess i worked them too hard !
I cant decide if i should get new ones or just try to go it alone...
on the one hand, i wont obsess, but then again, i wont have the motivation of a lb. lost, or get on the ball when there is a lb gained...
any opinions of this one???

I think it's good to have some form of measuring tool, but it doesn't have to be a scale. Really, who CARES how much a person weighs? I'd take 50 more pounds, if I were 3 sizes smaller. LOL!

How about a tape measure? Or a favorite pair of jeans? Non-scale victories can be the sweetest ones. They're the ones that all our "skinny" dreams are about anyway, right?

Default Lose the scale

What a dam roller coaster ride that is...get up in the morn weigh, in come home from work be three pounds heavier...go to bed and wake up three pounds lighter than when you went to bed...OMg I thought I would go insane with that dam thing...So I nixed it...I was living for my scale... I would get up in the morn get on the dam thing and be soooooooooo happy...come home from work....and go what the hell.... so I would try and eat a little less the next day same results.... So I decided I will not weigh in but once a month...Gave the scale to the mother in law and asked not to let me use it until one month was up...She is hard core she wont cave...lol....

Well, those are all good ideas... I can measure more by my clothes, less by my scales, and once in a while, when I am at my moms I can check in on the scales there... I have weighed there before and hers are nearly 2lbs heavier than mine were.. I'll just need to keep that in mind and not let it get me down. Hey-- since i wont be buying scales I get to save money too!!!
