Default Halloween & Cabbage

I was bad tonight on Halloween. Had a bite-size Twix, Kit-Kat and a few others. Other than that, I've been super strict for weeks.

Oh, the fried cabbage -- it's in the fridge, haven't fried it up yet, but maybe tomorrow. Yum!

Default Nov. 21, Status Report

I'm thrilled to say, last week I weighed in at 175.5, this week I'm down to 172.

I seem to be dropping 2.5 to 3 lbs a week, some weeks. Yea!

This evening I have fried cabbage with a little lean hamburger meat, soy sauce, other veggies and a few other things.

Fried cabbage is just excellent. So good, it makes me feel like I'm cheating or something.

nice chart!! hehehe.. I think it's a bit funny that we are sometimes we seem prouder of our tickers than we are of ourselves! I guess one is just the visual representation of the other to those who can't "see" you!! Hopefully after 20+ lbs down others are noticing as well!! Keep on keepin' on!!

I'm a few more pounds down. Yea! As my ticker shows, 27.5 lbs lost, 17 lbs. to go. I started out in the 190s, now I'm in the 160s. It feels really good, I've had to go to back to clothes & suits that I wore from years back.

SB has been fairly easy for me. It works!

I'm down a few more pounds to 164 (from starting at 194).

All in 4 months. I had to box up all the pants I used to wear.

164 seems like I'm pretty close to my goal. People are saying that I should not go any lower. Hmmm.... I may abandon the goal of 150, as it may well be too thin. I will at least get into the 150s and see how I feel.

Congrats!! Nice job!! A couple thoughts. I think our bodies will kind of level off at some point that is right for us given our level of intake and activity levels. It may or may not be at our goal weight! And I think as we lose weight we kind of go through a "gaunt looking" stage that worries people. Also it tends to worry those who have been most used to seeing us overweight. It's a big change for them too! I got those comments a fair amount too for awhile. I'd smile and acknowledge their concern, but if you are eating adequate amounts of healthy foods then I don't think it's really a problem. I am sure you are not starving yourself! Once you stabilize, I think people both get used to that image of you as "you" and you start to fill back out a bit in your face and look less gaunt and shrunken. Listen to your body! It kind of knows what it is doing!
