| my man, my man....look at you...you just keep plugging right along...I think it's important to reach goals we've set for ourselves. Everyone says you should not go any lower, because they've probably never seen you this thin before and they are still not used to it...I think you should definatley do as you said, get down to 150...reach your goal....see what you look like and then decide...hell, we all know it won't be hard to re-gain the weight if you really want...lol... Keep up the good work my man...it's motivation for everyone!!! | |||||||||||

| I already mentioned this to Tiny T, but I still wanted to update my journal. I'm still on SB, still live it, still love it. My starting weight was 195 and I am now at 162. I only have about 7 more pounds to go, but some people are telling to not to lose more. Other than that, I've started my own company, which has unbelievable stress. Oh, my new thing -- I weigh every Friday at 5:00pm. Then I go out for NY style pizza on Friday evening, searching for the best NY style pizza in the Washington DC area. :-) I also let myself eat ice cream or chocolate or whatever on Friday night, then I'm back to being good on Saturday morning. | |||||||||||

| Well, this is the end of May, and I started South Beach last September. It's been great, it's worked and I am still doing it. Somewhere around now is when I am suppose to quit the diet and gain the weight back. Right? That's what usually happens with me and most others, through the long list of fad diets that we have all tried. But SB really is different. One friend of mine looked at me recently and said, "But who wants to avoid sugar forever -- that's no fun." Spoken like a true sugar addict. Of course, avoiding sugar does not mean avoiding all kinds of wonderful sweet desserts, as all South Beachers know. And the payoff of being slim and healthy and feeling great, day after day, is just great. Still living it, still loving it. | |||||||||||
