I haven't been on for a little while. I've been fighting a cold which is now bronchitis. I've been having a difficult time with the scale lately and so when he put me on prednisone on sunday as well as antibiotics I was a bit nervous because steroids can make you gain. Today I'm down 5 lbs since sunday. My right knee has been hurting, the start of arthritis I think so maybe I was holding alot of water. It does feel a little looser in my knee so hopefully soon this bronchitis will be over and I can restart my exercising. I haven't been at the gym since last weds and will have to say I'm missing it.

I think now I am finally doing it. I have been pretty steady with the weightloss but I feel a renewed motivation so to speak. Yeah the weight loss helps but I finally start looking to going to the gym. Yesterday I worked out for 3 hours between cardio, weights and then my run class. I still fighting this cough from $#&& but just "keeping on" I was a little nervous going on the steroids for this bronchitis but I have actually more energy and don't have the hunger cravings that some people get. Even so I will be done with them tomorrow just hope my energy level stays with me.

This week has been really strong for me diet and fitness wise. I have been pushing myself at the gym a little more and am satisfied with the results I have been seeing lately. I'm down another 2.6lbs to 207.2. I'm a little nervous about valentines day, dh has gotten us reservations at a great restaurant which after looking at the menu not much is south beachy but I will do the best I can.
I recently read in a womans fitness magazine that eating after 8pm will actually put on 900 calories in one week just because you metabolize slower at night. This might not sound like a lot but in the course of a year if you habitually eat past 8pm could put on 10lbs or more than eating before the 8pm hour . I work alot of 12 hour shifts and sometimes dinner is not til around 8-9pm or later so some rearranging will be done on my part. I for one started going to the gym after work, I don't usually get home til about 930pm but I decided to make lunch my big meal on those days and eat something small before going to the gym such as a meal bar or small salad. It will be interesting to see if this helps my weightloss with working out at the gym.
