| Hi, I have just started the SB diet and found this great website. I think journaling will be a great help. I really liked reading what others ate for the day, especially since this is new to me. Yesterday: Breakfast: scrambled egg w/mushrooms and spinach Lunch: on the road day--had taco salad from Taco Bell but not the shell and few beans. Had extra salsa instead of sour cream. Supper: on the road still--hubby wanted to go to Captain D's--I thought "oh no!!" walked in and wonder of wonders!! low carb dinners w/chicken or fish!! had the chicken, it was great!!! came with steamed broccoli and assorted steamed veggies--gave hubby the carrots, but had green beans and summer squash and also came with a salad. Yesterday went pretty well-except for breakfast ????: South Beach Diet Forums http://www.southbeachdietbulletinboard.com/journal-your-way-thin/307-shelbys-journal.html Had Egg mcmuffin w/no muffin but wow lots of grease Salad for lunch w/olives, tomatoes, lots of veggies--confused about the dressing--low fat has sugar, reg has fat--which way to go?? went w/ reg ranch but thinking now should have done oil & vinegar--maybe I need to make my own?? Sure didn't look like olive oil on the salad bar. Supper-had chicken breast stuffed w/a little LF ricotta and spinach and herbs also brussel sprouts yummmmmmmm..... This a.m. I made scrambled eggs and wrapped them in a LF ham slice as burrito to eat on the run. Lunch will be challenge-I brought mine to work but everyone else wants to go out. I am going to need to make a list of appropriate choices for restaurants since I am on the run so much. Glad I have the support here. Hope we all have a great start to the week! | ||||||||||

| Know what Shelby? Just the fact that you know what the mistakes were that led up to the binge is so great! It means you have the blueprint down to be successful on this way of eating. Congratulations to getting back on track! :Hug2: | ||||||||||

| Hello, I hope everyone had a great weekend. I only have email at work and was out of the office yesterday so didn't get to post till today. Things are going ok and even tho I have had some rough spots, I have made it thru the week and on to week 2. Excited about the fact that I seem to be able to stick w/this better than other diets I have been on. Doesn't feel like much of a diet sometimes! And my craving for potatoes seems to be decreasing! WHo would have thought???? Hope you all have a good week! | ||||||||||
