Default journey through phase 1

Hi,my name is christina and this is the first time i have posted on sbdbd.This is not the first time doing southbeach.This will be my second attempt.I have recently tried atkins and also the biggest loser diet and i am sick of yo yoing.It is almost like and addiction.So,i thought a good way to start is to journal my way through the phases.
A little bit about myself.I am 31 and i am a stay at home mom to tyler.He is almost 3.I love exercising.I love books and cooking.I will be starting over tomorrow and that will be day 1.

Good luck and best wishes!! I really think with that history a good goal for you would be to stop "Dieting". Focus on healthy eating and the exercise you enjoy and just take it a day at a time. If we put a good process in place the results should follow over time. So focus on creating a good process through the P1 preparation phase and the P2 lifestyle and slow weight loss phase. Try not having any expectations at all about how fast or how slowly you might actually lose weight and just let it happen as you retrain yourself in how to eat well and healthily to support your new lifestyle.

Redrox,Thank you.You are completly rite on target with what i need to do.My ultimate goal is to stop the diet mentallaty all together.It is a very unhealthy way of life for me or for anybody for that matter.Thanks again for your kind words.

Today is day 1 and i have already gotten my exercise in.40 min on the treadmill.Eating is rite on target and also water.I am trying not to get so caught up in the weight loss saga but more trying to make everyday a healthy day.I have not weighed myself and don't plan on it for some time.When i step on the scale i expect so much from myself.So i am gonna take it slow.Hope everyone has a wonderfulle weekend.

Its day 2 and i am feeling pretty good this morning.I have already had breakfast wich was eggs peppers and 1oz of cheese.I do feel a little tired.I will probably have the blahs for a few days.My goals for today are to get some kind of exercise and to drink plenty of water.I can't decide when to weigh myself.I don't want to obsess over the scale but i do wan't to see some progress on it as well.I was thinking every 3 wks.One of my goals is to think of this as a life change and not as a diet to lose weight.Although that is one of my goals becuase i am at a unhealthy wheight.Wow i am realy blabbing this morning.Oh well its my journal rite.lol!I want to set some goals for phase 1:

1.Get through phase 1 cheat free.
2.Do not weigh myself until 3wks
3.Don't obsess over the scale

Thank you painted

I made it to day 3 and i feel wonderfull about it.I am starting to feel better.No cravings.I did get up early and get on the treadmill for 30min.I ran/walked.So,everything is on target.Exercise,check water,check eating,check.

Today there is not much going on.I need to take a few things back to get refunds and that is pretty much it.But,the day is early so who knows what will happen.HeHe!

Its day 4 and everything is going wonderfull.I have not had any desire to eat of plan.I do know those days will come.I have to stay focused.I decided to get on the treadmill for 40 more minutes last nite.I ran the last 10 min at 4.7 on the treadmill.That felt great.I decided to weigh myself when i am done with pahase1 and then i will weigh myself every monday morning from then on.I do not want to obsess w/the numbers.It is such a pretty day today me and my mom went for a walk today.I love doing things with her.She does sb as well and has really inspired me to get back on it.If your on here mom love you.Well hope everone has a wonderfull day.

it is day 8 and going pretty well.I have ate too much sf ice cream in the past few days.Other than that i have ate on plan.I really need to step up the exercise.I have been getting in exercise but i am capable of a whole lot more.I like to push myself to the limit.I would like to get in an hour of cardio on the treadmill and 3min strength training for today.That is my main goal for today.
