| I'm new here. I've always wanted to lose weight and remove my excess flab but I always go on a rebound....I've tried The Atkins and 3-Day Diet. I've been going to the gym for the past 2 years but I always never reach my goal due to my bad eating habits........I'm depressed........ to the point of giving up.............I'm hoping that by joining the SBDBB I'll succeed this time! I'm 5'2''. My current weight is 134 lbs. waistline 33 in. My goal is to lose 20 lbs so that i'll be able to wear my old clothes again. | ||||||||||

| hey jo welcome to the journals......we are here for you post away.....dont be depresed over your weight so not worth it...thats a bad circle to get into...stop!!!!! think about what you are doing and why your doing it....and make it happen for yourself.....only you can change you.....we are here to pick you up when fall...pat your back when you done good....your not alone on your journey so dont ever feel that way....french | ||||||||||

| It's been 5 days since i started my diet........I'm so happy!!!!!!!!! 5 days without rice, pasta, bread .........My GOd! that's a big accomplishment on my part!!!!!!!!!!!!! My weight right now is 130 from 134.........can't believe it!!!!!!!!!!!:happy: | ||||||||||

| During the first day i had a hard time........i craved for sweets......... good thing there's sugar free Jello.........THank GOd!............but i still take diet COke........hmmmmmm..........can't get it out of my system!!!!!!!!!!! | ||||||||||

| i'm on my 10th day of SB........ and i ate fish crackers with diet coke!!!!!!!!! I'm so disappointed with myself but i really can't stop my cravings.... I hope i won't gain back the 4 lbs i lost........ | ||||||||||

| Ok, don't get mad....but 134 is not that much to weight for 5'2. I see where you have been going to the gym for 2 years. That says a lot to me right there. I use to weight lift and I can tell you right now, muscle weighs more then fat. You can not totally go by a number on the scale. So many factors play into it. Are you a Mother? Sometimes that changes our bodies, and also age. My little Sister is losing too much weight. She is 44. She speed walks about 5 miles a day, every day, and doesn't eat. Just be careful about wanting to be too thin. This second round of SB has been harder for me. The first time I lost so much the Doc told me I was too thin. I am almost 5'4, and went from 170 to 125. I was a size 14, then went to a 6. It took me 6 months to get there. This time it is taking longer and I am ok with it, most of the time. | ||||||||||

| Great journal Joo. I think journals are good because we can see, on the screen, what we are good at doing and what we need help with. You are exercising and that is awesome, so many folks have difficulty getting into the exercise mode. Your addition to sweets are where your having problems, so that is what you need to work on. I agree with Mindy, do Phase 1 for another two weeks and avoid all sweets. Its just two weeks, and you'll find that afterward, you can control anything Welcome aboard.
