I bought some Feta cheese the other day that's fat free. I took a bite and didn't like it like that, so I put the crumbles in my salad. I thought it tasted okay like that. Can you do that with your cheese, Mog? Use it in a recipe?

Well, I'm going to have to come back to this thrad after I have some dinner. This thread is making me hungry!

I don't know what to tell Moggy, but Luv2, try reduced fat Feta cheese. It tastes good. It's a little dry compared to regular Feta but still flavorful! Especially crumbled on salads.

I thought about the salad thing with my Farmers cheese, but its too sticky to "crumble" its got the texture of ricotta, you could eat it like a cottage cheese I guess with some berries or something or even use it like a spread, I may try it on some celery sticks...it tastes good, just not what i was expecting when I bought it!

I can't get over how wonderful plain low-fat yogurt, a packet of Splenda and fresh strawberries tastes. I will NEVER EVER go back to pre-mixed fruit in yogurt again. No wonder I thought I didn't like yogurt too much. But making it with fresh fruit -- particularly strawberries is fantastic. And it's such a comfort food. I've been having it as my mid-morning snack for the past few days and I've fallen in love with it!!!!!!

I like the plain yogurt with raspberries, no sweetener at all. I like the tang of the yogurt coupled with the sweetness of the berries. I never have liked the kind you buy premade, way too sweet IMO. And you know, I wonder why they don't make any of the flavored FF Yogurts with artificial sweetener instead of sugar? Seems kinda dumb to me to take out the fat but still leave all the empty sugar calories.

Amen Sistah! There's so much stupidity in the food industry! And most of the sugar-free items are still made with Aspartame. I think Equal/Nutra Sweet has a lock on some of the market.

I think that is exactly what it is! They probably have contracts that would cost them a truck load of money to break!
