Default What foods have you fallen in love with?

Now that you are on SB, what foods have you discovered that really please the palette?

For me, I have several - coconut flan (SB recipe book), Herbed shrimp salad (SB recipe book), and my recent discovery of Whole wheat sourdough cranberry walnut bread. I get that at Whole Foods. Pistacho bark (SB recipe book) - that is unsweetened chocolate, sweetened with splenda with some nuts thrown in.
I never even knew I liked dark chocolate until I tried this!

The discovery has been great! Life after full-fat!! Please share your experiences. This way we can all have a food fest!!! (legal of course!)

Golly you keep rubbing in that cranberry bread! Where are the little guys with the guns when I need them LOL....just razzing you, in fact I'm stopping at Whole foods today to see if they have it here! I'm assuming its in the bakery section?

Anyway, the only thing I've found that I like so far is the fact that Greek Yogurt comes in 2% and it actually tastes good! I 'll be picking up some of that at Whole foods as well!

I can't get ENOUGH of that bread (yes, I am sticking to the serving size!!) And yes it's in the bakery section. Even I am getting sick of hearing me talk about it:Bang: LOL!!

I am hoping to get this forum cranking so I really want to hear from somebody other than myself!! :OMG:

Dag gone it! *insert temper tantrum here*

My Whole Foods doesn't have that bread, nothing even close. Bummer Bummer Bummer!

I did find some nice Soy Chips though, they are called "Soy Crisps" with deep sea salt. One servind is 17 crisps for 100 calories, 2 fat grams, 14 carbs, 2 fiber and 7 g of protein.

How does that sound? The ingredients are Low Fat IP Soy Flour, rice pieces ( you can see them, there's not many) Sunflower oil, Sea Salt!

they are nice and salty and crispy and made great "crackers" for my lite pimento cheese

Sounds delish!

We're supposed to keep dietary fiber at 3 grams or higher per serving of carbs (on Atkins as well as SB) so try not to go overboard on these! :Hiding: 2 grams means the product is higher on the glycemic scale. Other than that they sound healthy as can be!

OK, thanks for the clarification. I only ate about 1/2 serving. That's my "crispy salty" craving thing--that has always been my thing, not sweets.

Me too, we can baby step together!

I bought some Farmers cheese made with skim milk yesterday, the way it was packaged I couldn't tell that it is nothing like the Farmers cheese that I am used to! It has the consistency of ricotta cheese! I don't know how I'm going to eat it now! I was planning on have it in small slices, that's out! Any ideas?

Brown Rice! Another amazing food. With a little Earth Balance butter spread mixed in it is DEVINE! When I measured out my half a cup serving the first time I made it I winced, thinking that will never be enough rice to satisfy my tummy, but it was enough! I think that is because rice tends to really fill you up. Plus I had it with a protein and veggies.

Oh my! The nutty flavor is devine. I have brown rice on sushi rolls now whenever I go out to a sushi bar and I like the taste better than when I was having them with white rice!!!

YUM!
