Arrow Time Savers - Please help!

It is hard to make breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks/dessert everyday. The labor is what I think derails some folks. I know there are many days where I feel the prep will never end! What time saving devices or foods do you know that will help us get through the day.

String cheese singles are an easy snack to pop into a lunch bag
Nuts are easy

What else???

1.) Always keep a bag of prewashed salad greens on hand. I cut up celery sticks and other raw veggies and keep them in the fridge so they're always handy.

2.) Cook up big meals once a week and freeze the leftovers in smaller portions. Then reheat your leftovers on a night you're running behind schedule.

3.) There's always foods like canned tuna, poached salmon, low-fat or nonfat plain yogurt, or ready made hummus. I recently bought some of the ready made hummus.

4.) If you go out for a big restaurant meal, eat half of it and ask for a doggie bag. You can eat the rest of it for lunch tomorrow.

The other night I used a bag of Tyson cooked chicken strips and put them in a skillet with 1 t. of canola oil. Then I put in a bag of frozen stir fry vegetables, some red pepper for zip, some lite soy sauce, some sf terryaki sauce and I cooked it all up together.

I already had some brown rice cooked and waiting in the fridge. I scooped out a single serving and heated it in the microwave. Then I put the chicken and veggie mix over the rice and added more soy sauce to taste. It was really super fast, super easy and it tasted great!

Next time I'm thinking of using the already cooked lean beef strips that Tyson makes.

Does anyone have any other ideas that are quick and easy? Plese add them to this thread.
