| Some of these are coming out of the South Beach Party and Holiday cookbook veggie tray with various SB friendly dips (hummus - salmon mousse, etc) Dogs'n'dips (mustard dip, red pepper dig, suaerkraut dip) Lunch meat (remember low fat) with cheese rollups (mustard in the center) Shrimp cocktail with SB friendly cocktail sauce Buffalo chicken bites (made with cubed up cooked skinless chicken breasts) ????: South Beach Diet Forums http://www.southbeachdietbulletinboard.com/kitchen/2889-super-bowl-ideas.html I think if memory serves buffalo sauce is a margarine <-> hot sauce ratio for mild - 3 part margerine - 2 part hot sauce for med - 2 part margerine - 2 part hot sauce for hot - 2 part margarine - 3 part hot sauce Serve with celery and blue cheese (or make your own dip) deviled eggs sb friendly meatballs in sauce parmesan crisps (will work with the dip) .. This is just little mounds of shredded parm baked until they look like a cracker - Food Network has an Alton Brown recipe for these Thats what I can come up with off the top of my head - Hope it helps.. And is the game REALLY this weekend? And Kalyn's Kitchen has this: http://kalynskitchen.blogspot.com/20...for-south.html Last edited by luvbug412; 01-31-2009 at 09:28 AM. | |||||||||||

| The game is tomorrow and this town is going crazy, not to mention my husband. I have to work til 3 but hubby has invited several couples to the house to watch the game and I need to make some simple finger foods. I have some turkey chili ready to cook in the crock pot for tomorrow. I also will have some veggies, and low fat dip for starters, I ordered a sub tray from subway on whole wheat subs and multigrain flatbread and I have others bringing desserts which I will not be tempted by. I used to make a wonderful chicken buffalo dip but not within southbeach standards so won't be on my buffet table. | |||||||||||
