Default Steele's Gourmet Sauces

Luv2 introduced me to this company through their distribution at Netrition. My sauces came yesterday and I really like them!

They all have natural ingredients and are sweetened with Splenda -

I purchased:

Cocktail sauce with dill & lemon
Rocky Mountain BBQ Sauce
Sweet & Spicy Peanut Sauce
Hoisin sauce

I like the asian sauces better than the tomato based cocktail and bbq sauces but the those are good too. The bbq sauce leans towards a mustard-y flavor (no one, but no one comes close to Carb Options darn it! and that is not available on the online order form anymore boo hoo!). The cocktail sauce is really good but is slightly too sweet. But will be wonderful on shrimp!

Oh and all of the sauces come in a pretty big size bottle so even though it was expensive to order them $4.95 per bottle, they will last a long time. Shipping was pretty cheap $4.95 for the whole order. Now a days that's pretty cheap shipping.

I plan to buy more sauces. I want to try their teryaki and the raspberry jalepeno sauce next. I think Luv2 ordered the teryaki. Did you get it yet Luv2?

I can't wait to make some pad thai with the sweet & spicy peanut sauce and whole wheat spaghetti noodles in place of the asian noodles. Oooh!!!!!!!!!

Carb Options products are available online but for some reason you can't order the bbq sauce anymore. I would think that would be the most popular item. Maybe they did online purchasing when they removed them from the shelves only until the items sold out online? Then are officially discontinuing them?

I did get my sauces last Thursday, but I haven't tried them yet. If you like them I think I will like them, too. I've still got some Atkins terriyaki sauce left! Can you believe it? I use them very sparingly.

I bought the Steele's Barbeque and the Sweet and Sour sauces. The Carb Options barbeque sauce was good. I've gotten the Walden's Farm brand before and used them. But what can that stuff be made out of? :speechless: It has no calories and no sugar and no fat! What the heck is it?

LOL!!!!!! Things that make you go hmmm!!:Bang: I like the No Carb Gourmet SF Syrup and I think it's made by Walden Farms. Also has the nothing ingredients but I haven't found anything awful in it. My guess is it's some sort of glycerin base with flavorings. It's thicker than the Atkins syrup. Actually kind of gloppy! But very yummy tasting.

Glycerin, hmmm? That could be it. It looks and moves kind of weird like. I haven't tried the syrup but I haven't liked any of their salad dressings so far. The barbecue sauce is alright. I liked the Hickory better than the Honey flavored glycerin.
