Default More new products on the way

I just got my Hungrygirl newsletter.

Pepsi Jazz on the Way - Following in the fizzy footsteps of Diet Black Cherry Vanilla Coke and Dr. Pepper's creamy, berry-ish flavors, Pepsi is expected to release a line of similar zero-calorie fruit flavored sodas. Flavors are rumored to include strawberries & cream and black cherry french vanilla.

Sugar Free Tootsie Rolls? Could Be! - Insiders are buzzing about the fact that a sugar free version of the popular classic chocolate candy is on the way. Can't wait...
Hmm, can't wait for the new flavors of Pepsi. I love the Dr. Pepper Berry Cream diet soda and Coke's Black Cherry Vanilla.

I think I might pass on the sf Tootsie Rolls though.

Gosh I feel kinda bad I haven't drank pop in like 6 months I don't even remember what it tastes like. But no pop or if your from down south, soda, is good for you. Just remember that despite being diet it still has carmal coloring in it which is I read somewhere the same as having HFCS in your drink. Bad bad. Although I do wish I still had my good ole cherry coke,, ahh the memories..the memories.

Yeah, I'm with you frost. I don't drink soda (from Florida here!!). The phosphoric acid that's used in these drinks is baaaaad for your bones, joints, cartledge. Makes brittle bones & joints. I gave it up years ago. Now I can't even drink it, diet or not. It just tastes like a heap of chemicals to me. Bleeeech!!!!!:Hiding:

This is from Snopes.com
Quote:
all the insinuations about the dangers these acids might pose to people who drink Coca-Cola ignore a simple concept familiar to any first-year chemistry student: concentration. Coca-Cola contains less citric acid than orange juice does, and the concentration of phosphoric acid in Coke is far too small (a mere 11 to 13 grams per gallon of syrup, or about 0.20 to 0.30 per cent of the total formula) to dissolve a steak, a tooth, or a nail overnight. (Much of the item will dissolve eventually, but after a day or two you'll still have most of the tooth, a whole nail, and one very soggy t-bone.)

Besides, the gastric acid in your stomach is much stronger than any of the acids in Coca-Cola, so the Coca-Cola is harmless. http://www.snopes.com/cokelore/acid.asp
I love my diet soda!
