| For years I've been making do with one of those mini food processors and it's time for me to graduate to the real deal. If you own one, can you tell me which brand and what features to look for. Thanks! | ||||||||||

| I'd be interested in an answer to this also. I've got a small one that I've had for years. It use to have a slicer for salads, but I melted that in the dishwasher shortly after I first got it. Mine is made by Sunbeam and it's called an Oskar. I think I've had it for at least 20 years. I don't know what I'd do without it. The only thing is that I'd like a bigger one. It's bigger than a mini one but just not big enough sometimes. I was just on eBay and I see where Cuisinart has a 14 cup one. But it's kind of pricey. Wolfgang Puck has a 14 cup one with a 900 watt motor. I've seen it on eBay for around $65.00, but then there's shipping, too. I don't know how much they are in the stores. Now you've got me wanting a new food processor! | |||||||||||

| What a coincidence! And I just found an Oskar on eBay that has all of the attachments! And it's super cheap. I looked at some last night while I was buying a toaster at the Evil Empire, better known as Walmart. Anyway, having an Oskar myself, I totally understand wanting to graduate. I want one with a bigger bowl really bad. | |||||||||||
