| DH uses Ghiradelli baking chocolate with 65% cocoa to make homemade ice cream and I tried a square - YUM! It was just right - like 3$ for a big bar, but if you could control yourself, it would be perfect! Amy | ||||||||||

| Mindy, I bought another 99% bar today, the exact nutritional info is: Per bar (50g's): 270 cals 25g fat (15g saturated) carbs 4 fibre 3 protein 7 That is for the entire bar, i'd say there is easily 4 servings..it's the large bar in the cardboard package. that takes the fat content down for SB. Because it's such pure cocoa it's hard to over eat it...it's very rich. | ||||||||||

| Well I bought a 100% unsweetened bar by Ghiradelli. Guess what. I melted it down, added toasted almonds, put in my Splenda. Broke it up into 8 servings for the one bar. And STILL OVERATE!!! It's rich alright but still gets addictive!!!!! Wish they had the 99% Lindt bar locally though. I'm going to leave chocolate alone for a while. It's too seductive!!! | ||||||||||

| I've found many varieties of high % cocoa chocolate at Cost Plus World Market - if you have one near you check it out. Whole Foods also has a good variety. I'm definielty not touching the stuff til phase 3...i know i won't be able to control myself (and all the reading about it is NOT helping!!!) I guess if you over indulge, which is bound to happen, just do an extra 10-20 mins of cardio that day/the next day. Then you won't feel quite as guilty! | ||||||||||

| Dark Chocolate is High in Antioxidents and is very good for you. If you get the very good kind that has 70 or 80% coco content. I would ignore the sugar. Usually when you eat this kind of chocolate, it comes in such a way that is easilly broken into little squares. I usually have 1 square every now and then. It is so rich that you don't need any more to satisfy your craving. The French eat this way, small amounts of rich food and they are very thin. If you deprive yourself of everything, you will make yourself crazy. Fruit also contains sugar but it is good for you. blueberries, Pommegranates, and Goji berries all contain sugar and are all also high in antioxidents. I think the point is to learn to have these things in moderation. | ||||||||||
