| I have noticed that since I stared the SB diet I got my period a week earlier than usual. My friend also got hers two weeks earlier. Is this typical? Has it happen to anyone else? | ||||||||||

| On Phase one when you are detoxing your body from excess sugar and starch, some people do experience a different menstrual cycle. This is temporary. It happens because excess estrogent that has been storing in your fat cells is being released. This is not dangerous at all. It is your body flushing out. Once you are rid of the excesses your body will function normally. A nice benefit of this is that many women experience a reduction in menstrual cramping once the excess estrogen is dumped. So you may find that happens next month. Your cycle will return to normal, with improved functioning! | ||||||||||

| I was badly insulin resistance to the point of a reduced period (a light 3 days) and dry hair that would tangle easily and fall out. My hair is restoring to its previous nature. . .and my period showed up a day early so I suspect its back up to it normal levels as well. I'm interested to know more about why this happens if anyone knows.
