Here's what it says for yogurt guidelines in phase one. Those rules haven't changed and I was just at the SBD web site to make sure. Quote:

NUTS AND SEEDS (Limit to one serving per day as specified. Dry roasted recommended.) Almonds - 15 Brazil Nuts - 4 Cashews - 15 Filberts - 25 Flax Seed - 3 TBS (1 oz) Hazelnuts - 25 Macadamia - 8 Peanut Butter, Natural, and other nut butters - 2 TBS Peanuts, 20 small (May use dry roasted or boiled) Pecans - 15 Pine Nuts (Pignolia) - 1 ounce Pistachios - 30 Pumpkin Seeds - 3 TBS (1 oz) Sesame Seeds - 3 TBS (1 oz) Soy Nuts - 1/4 cup Sunflower Seeds - 3 TBS (1 oz) Walnuts - 15 | |||||||||||

| Cheese counts as a protein. Use those guidelines. Eat until satisfied, but not stuffed. You know the rule ........ eat, then wait for twenty minutes and if you are still truly hungry, then have some more. Don't overdue it with the cheese, Brownie, because it can be a diet buster just like the nuts that you have trouble with. Don't trade one bad habit for another. | |||||||||||

| Ok, I just eat it at lunch, but I saw in the book they have in twice for the snacks, so i wasn't sure if i could have 1/4 cup twice a day. I think i'll just stick to having it once a day. Quote:

| Not so sure it's good to use the guidelines as they say protein is not limited for dinner. | ||||||||||

| Luv gives you the guidelines in her post above. As she says, cheese can be a diet buster for many people. Limit it if that helps you. It's about us each finding out what works for us. There aren't many hard & fast rules. | ||||||||||

| According to SB, a single serving size of cheese is 1 oz. so you shouldn't eat more than that amount at any meal. And with the Blue Bunny yogurt -- I agree with what was said, and if it has real raspberries in it, fruit is not allowed until Phase 2. The best yogurt is low fat plain sweetened with your own Splenda packet. And when you get to Phase two, throw in cut up chunks of your own fresh fruit! So good that you will never go back to a pre-mixed container again!! | ||||||||||
