i am new to this today is my 4th day. here is todays menu so far
breakfast
2 pieces of bacon
1/2 cup cottage cheese
celery
laughing cow cheese

snack
celery
laughing cow cheese

lunch
hamburger patty 93/7
1/2 teaspoon reg. mayo
salad with
lettuce
cheese
cucumber
1/2 cup cottage cheese

and i have had 45 ounces of sugar free cherry kool aid
as i said today is my 4th day and i have lost 7 pounds so far. anyone have any suggestions for me

Wow that's awesome, 7 pounds in 4 days! WOOOO!
I'm no expert, but by looking at your menu my advice would be more veggies and not so much cheese. (hoping those are the lowfat varieties).

yes the cheese is lowfat.
i thought it was 2 cups of veggies a meal and thats what i had for lunch.
i have a hard time knowing what to eat and how much

Ive felt that way as well because some things are very specific and others allow much choice.

The sticky thread Meal Model for Phase One has gotten and kept me on track.

yes i have read alot on this forum and learned alot more than from the book. i am not craving anthing. i have had a headache for 3 days but im not craving anything. my granddaughters dr put her on this diet so i just started it with her. she is 9 and the dr told her mom she needed to lose. so thats how i got started. she has lost 4 pounds now.

So this is an family affair! Great! Oh, you are going to be helping your granddaughter tremendously! My son grew up as a fat child and became a fat adult. He suffered a lot of teasing and abuse from the other children. He still doesn't have healthy eating habits. It's really good to get your grandchild started on the right path at an early age.

Thanks. My granddaughter is the greatest. She loves to play basketball. this last week was her first so this next saturday she gets to go to phase II. I am a few days behind her. I think it will be better on her once she can add some other stuff back in. my scales still said 206 this morning. i started at 215 and today is day 6. its disappointing that they didnt go down today but i am going to quit checking everday. my goal for now is to get to 175 and then we will go from there. its nice talking to others on here. have a good day
