Red face AAAHK! Temptation is kiling me!!!

Hi my name is Eric. I just started today bc i'm really ready to lose weight! I had a couple of questions about phase 1 materials. I went to the grocery store yesterday to prepare and so (and tell me if i messed up anywhere!!) this is what i haddd:

Brkfst: Two Hard-boiled Eggs and some string cheeseee with a bottle of water

Lunch: Slice of Turkey meat, string Cheese, Crystal light and two bottles of waterr and a serving of cashews

DinDin: Cooking Fish tonight, with a side of black beans and water!!


oh yea and i kinda already slipped right now i bought some kissables for someone else but she didn't show up so i kinda had like half of 'em! ( I KNOWWWWW THAT'S REALLLY BAD ) but im back on track.

Here's another question: Can you continue to do phase 1 even after your two week are up or is it better to just move on?

And another question: Are energy drinks (monsters and full throttles) a no-no???

I would make sure I did 2 weeks of clean phase 1

No energy drinks and no kissables. In my opinion the first phase helps you break the carb addiction. So really try to stick with the program.

Default phase 1 temptation

Hang in there, phase 1 is to rid your body of those carb cravings, 2 weeks of clean phase 1 will amaze you. You will look forward to the good carbs like you never did. A baked sweet potatoe never looked so good to me or brown rice. I was such a carb queen. It was hard but what I can see with your proposed menu is that you need some approved veggies, they are great fillers. I used to make a south beach recipe of chicken or fish and make 2 side of veggies. It really helped. My husband did it along with me and we adapted quickly. When the 2 weeks were up we only added back a carb at dinner 3 times a week rather than all nights. We at only 1 peice of whole wheat bread. We eased into phase 2 slowly and found wonderful sucess in how we felt and the foods we craved. Salads w/meat on them are filling and healthy and approved, just watch the dressing.

If you stick with this the thought of a a bunch of huggables will make you cringe.
