Default South Beach Diet Phase 1 without reading the book

Well,
I am sure there will be some of you that will yell at me for this post. But hey I am a rebel!!! but unfortunately I will have to finish this post in pieces and with your help.

The thought here is that there are many people that are interested in losing weight and living healthier with the South Beach Diet but in all honesty are too lazy, unmotivated, disinterested or for whatever reason do not want to read the book.

What i would like to present here is a simple way to start phase one without reading the book. Really if you think of it, much of the book is kind of "rah rah" for the diet and another part is explaining why it works. Both of those are important for their own reasons but can be addressed simply.

With not too much effort, Phase 1 can be summerized. Really how long would it take to explain what is phase 1? Certainly not a whole book worth. It may be interesting for some to see what happens in future phases but I could argue that it is more beneficial to get these people started rather than giving them another excuse to not start the diet.

So here I would like to with you help do the following:

Summerize Phase 1 into a short read ( highlight main parts and stick to the hows rather than the whys )
Provide 2, 1 week menus with shopping lists that someone without knowing why can go to the store, buy the food, eat what is planned, and lose weight.
????: South Beach Diet Forums http://www.southbeachdietbulletinboard.com/south-beach-diet-forums-phase-1/1387-south-beach-diet-phase-1-without-reading-book.html

Between these two items I think we can reach a great number of people that normally would not start the diet.

So can you please help me here.

Default Phase 1 summary

Phase Out Bad Carbs and Fats
????: South Beach Diet Forums http://www.southbeachdietbulletinboard.com/showthread.php?t=1387
First 14 days of the South Beach Diet is called Phase 1

It is very important in this phase not to cheat or bend the rules.

The main reasons for this phase is to break your body of its addition to bad foods like carbs while promoting nutritious healthy eating habbits.

Consists of eating food with a low GI. ( to be discussed later)
Phase 1 has the most stringent rules about what you cannot eat these need to be followed strictly for these first 14 days. No exceptions.

The list of accepted foods can be found here:
http://www.sbdbb.com/showpost.php?p=11265&postcount=3

I will copy them to the bottom of this thread.

The restricted foods are found at the bottom of that list. I will break them up below.
