New Weapon

My new weapon of choice against fighting the “bulge” is posting this thread…as I sit here at my desk with this quarter in my hand I’m completely bored due to having all my work caught up and it seems to be a slow day;

I was contemplating walking out to the break room. There I would discover a wonderful invention…The candy machine. Ah…the wonderful, evil candy machine… I could very easily insert this quarter into the machine…and out would come a handful of something very sweet, tangy, or chewy that I was wanting. The quarter is now in front of me on my desk, and will very soon be back inside my pocket. Because I WILL resist the urge to walk out there and get that maliciously wicked but wonderful stuff. Stuff from within the see-through walls which tempted me so many times…BEFORE TODAY! “But you only get a handful” I just heard myself say trying to negotiate getting my way. I got out of my chair a minute ago and took two steps but then stopped. “WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!” I heard my thoughts scream! Well, needless to say, the quarter is now back in my pocket where it is safe and warm. And the good news is, I’ve stalled myself long enough with this overly descriptive thread about a nothing. I have won my battle of the afternoon munch which seems to kill me right after lunch!

you go girl....for resisting...there is no better word than no when your dieting...skinny minny us right around the conner... can taste it... getting rid of our beach ball asses is what it is all about..... uhhhhhhhh the thought of not hidding behind a ex-tra large shirt this summer just taste bitter sweet to me.....

They have installed a new candy machine....UGH...

Oh well, at least it's far away from my desk...gives me time to think about it if I do walk out there huh?...

I have them right outside the door of where I work! It's horrible, I tell you! But, I can't get anything for a quarter. I just have to leave my money in my car or in my locker. Sometimes I bring just enough to buy a diet soda with.
