That's something that is very frustrating. But, you can trust the infomation about the dairy that we have here on this board as it is the latest.

So enjoy!
luv2bike, How much is the pay website? Do you believe it's really helpful, if so why? Can you give an example of what is most helpful? Thanks from a newbie "M"

Thanks!
I have "sbd good fats good carbs guide"2005 ed. and it allows skim and 1% milk on all three phases, ff and low fat plain yogurt and plain soy yogurt also ok. plain refrigerated soy milk, soy milk creamer, unsweetened refrigerated soy milk allowed on all 3. no ice cream... just NSA fudgesicle bars. that includes frozen yogurt..none allowed.
not sure if its changed since then...hope this is some help!

I think this list is just as important to have hanging on my fridge as the list of 'legal' foods on phase 1! Thank you!

Default Where does Tapioca fit in?

I have found that Kozy Shack has a low fat and No Sugar Added (splenda) tapioca pudding now. Where does this fit in? They have a rice one but I knew that wasn't allowed. Thanks for your help.

tapioca is basically a starch and so at best it would be a P2 item along with other SF/FF puddings that you make yourself. There are no premade puddings that are considered SB friendly at all. Not sure if that helps or not!

Ideally a detailed ingredient list would be helpful.

Couple things. Breast feeding moms should begin in P2 per Dr. A. There is not enough nutrition and not enough calories in P1 to support your nutrition and healthy milk production. Also be sure to check the meal models here for typical menus. Looks like you might be trying to diet too much instead of focusing on healthy eating and you might not be eating enough even if you weren't breast feeding. And there are two problems with alcohol. One is that it is simply empty calories with no nutrtional value. So you are cutting out healthy stuff but keeping your calories up with no real nutrition associated with them. And secondly the point of P1 is not weight loss but to normalize blood sugar levels throughout the day and night. Alcohol is not metabolized and digested like other foods and beverages. It is pretty much sent directly to the blood stream and messes with those blood sugars you are trying to get under control in P1. So it is really counterproductive to the real purpose of P1 which is the blood sugar control/hunger pangs aspect. Whether it affects your weight loss in P1 or not is really more an issue of total calories in vs. total calories out. But again the purpose of P1 is not really weight loss. It's just a benefit of reducing carb intake to the point you burn up your stored glycogen energy reserves and release the associated water weight stored with the glycogen.
