| Here's the new thread for the second week of phase one: Breakfast: 1 c. ff yogurt w/ flavored syrup 1 egg 1 onion rung 1 green pepper 2 sliced mushrooms 2 t. salsa the usual coffee Had a late breakfast and skipped the snack. Took the dogs to the park. Lunch: 1 2x2 in. square of leftover pizza 2 c. salad w/ 1 oz. 2% cheese and some green pepper salad dressing (didn't measure, was using up some already had) 1 diet coke Be back later .......... | |||||||||||

| I'm back to post the rest of my food. Mid-afternoon snack: 2 oz. peanuts Dinner: 4 ozs. turkey breast 1/2 c. low fat cottage cheese 3/4 c. green beans cooked with 2t. Smart Balance 1 diet coke Dessert: ff/sf fudge bar This was a good day, but I ate too many peanuts. They're so good it's hard to stop at the recommended amount. I'm tired and sleepy, so see ya later .... alligator! | |||||||||||

| Well, it's pretty much the same thing but a different day. Breakfast: 2 eggs 2 oz. turkey sausage 2 T. salsa 1 c. coffee w/ sweetener and Coffee Mate I didn't have a mid-morning snack. Wasn't hungry. Lunch: 1 2x2 in. piece of leftover pizza 2 c. salad w/ 1 oz. shredded cheese and Ranch dressing 1 c. iced coffee Well, I was a bad, bad girl. Instead of eating a good allowable mid-afternoon snack, I ate 2 pieces of sugar free candy. They're like little tootsie roll midgies and strawberry flavored. I've been thinking about fruit today. I can't wait to get this week over with so I can have an apple. I think that I'll just clean up some leftovers for dinner tonight. I still have green beans, turkey, a Bocca cheeseburger and one more slice of pizza leftover. | :OMG: My yesterday was terrible. I think I did everything wrong. I don't even want to talk about it. Yes, it was that bad. I'm back on track today but it's been hectic. I turned in paperwork for financial aid and signed up for two classes, paid tuition, bought books and got my ID made. Breakfast: 2 eggs 3 slices Canadian bacon 1 t. Smart Balance 1 sm. glass V-8 coffee Mid-morning snack: 1 oz. peanuts Lunch: Bocca cheese burger onion pickles Didn't make the snack Dinner: 1 chicken breast 3/4 c. green beans 2 c. salad fixings 2 T. ranch salad dressing Dessert: 1/2 c. sf/ff vanilla ice cream w/ sf chocolate syrup Called off work last night. | I am still here Luv, just been a couple of hard days at work. I have been on program, but sometimes have missed my snacks. Real tired tonite so will probably make this short. ????: South Beach Diet Forums http://www.southbeachdietbulletinboard.com/showthread.php?t=1646 B-cheese omelet S-Canadian Bacon L-chicken breast and lettuce salad with tomatoes and 2T. Low carb ranch S-none--literally running at work--UGGG! D-Cheeseburger--probably not exactly in Phase one, but the best choice. S-not sure i will eat one, my diet root beer is tasting pretty good, and I think i could fall asleep at any time. But, if i am hungry a ricotta dessert. Luv, you got back on SB, so what happened yesterday is in the past. Just look forward to the future! Just a note, I have been on a very strict low carb for 5 weeks prior to this, so I have lost some weight already. | Forty pounds!!!!! Debbers, that is awesome! You did that in just 6 weeks? Wow! I'm speechless. And that's hard to do to me. Yesterday was alright. I wasn't exactly perfect, but hey, it beats going totally wild and crazy. I still have NO idea where my scales are. I put them away when I was clearing out the diningroom and took all that stuff to the basement. I've got a ton of stuff from about 4 different houesholds down there. I can not find the box with my scales or the SBD book. I have a doctor's appointment on the 20th. and I'll tell how much I've lost then. Since I didn't post my food yesterday and I didn't write it down, I probably won't remember all of it accurately anyway. Beef jerky and nuts are just so easy to grab and throw in my backpack for work. If I ever get myself together I'll work on making a better lunch for work. But, for now, I don't mind the jerky and nuts. Breakfast: 3 strips turkey bacon 1 lf mock danish coffee w/ sweetener and ff half and half no snack because I'm still pretty full I'll finish posting later tonight ...... | |||||||||||

| To finish out yesterday's food accounting, I had a big chef salad for lunch and went to bed. When I got up I just had a meat and cheese roll up with some cucumber and tomato wedges. Then I went to work and had the usual nuts and I took some ff/sf plain yogurt that I flavored up with some Crystal Light pink lemonade. And that brings us to today ..... Breakfast: 2 eggs 1t. Smart Balance 3 strips turkey bacon 1 sm. glass V-8 And I try to always have a serving of sf fiber like Metamucil. I haven't always listed it though. ????: South Beach Diet Forums http://www.southbeachdietbulletinboard.com/showthread.php?t=1646 No snack Lunch: salad w/ cucumber, 2% cheddar cheese and homemade 1000 Island dressing 1 diet cherry coke Zero Mid-afternoon snack: 15 almonds Dinner: 1 roasted chicken breast 3/4 c. green beans 1/2 c. black beans 1 glass ice tea w/ mango sf syrup Dessert: 1/2 c. ricotta cheese with toasted marshmallow flavored s/f syrup OK, I believe this concludes our two week phase one thread. Now it's onto phase two and i can hardly wait. Debbers, why don't you go on down and start yourself a journal? We can visit each other in our journals and you can list your food there.
